Someone I've known for 40 years I guess. Haven't seen him for 6 months and he was having problems as his wife was/is unwell and I find out today he has stage 4 cancer, spread, doesn't know where he is and it doesn't look good. Just in a report bang, out of the blue. Probably wont see him again, it's upsetting as hell and there's me worrying about the 6 months I've just had (well 18 months to be pedantic).
It's upsetting and grounding at the same time isn't it? Oh well, I'd better go and get ready to go out and he won't be there today or again. Something to ponder over I guess?
